ALMOND MILK BEVERAGE

Recipe developed by Manached CI.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of shelled almonds (They are left to soak 24 hours and then easily remove the shell)
  • 1 L of drinking water.
  • 1 date (Optional)
  • Cinnamon (Optional)
  • Cheesecloth

Preparation:

Blend all the ingredients for a couple of minutes until the mixture is homogeneous, pass through a very fine strainer or cheesecloth and squeeze to remove all the liquid, of course there must be a container below where all the “milk” of almond, chill in the fridge for a couple of hours and voila!
